Continuous Recording for battery power camera with external power source
Continuous Recording for battery power camera with external power source

Basically as the title.
I would love to have the option to turn on continuouse recording for the battery powered devices like C425, when I have solar panel, or continuouse power source. While i currently don't have power available, but I would love to have an option to just plug it in later when i have a chance to hire someone to add an new outdoor outlet, and I don't necessary need to change my camera.
plus, we can have soloar panel

I need a continuous recording option in the C425 camera; otherwise, it's completely useless. I can't believe I ended up buying a CCTV camera without this basic feature—so frustrating that I didn’t realize it earlier!
Now, I’ll need to purchase an additional camera to meet my requirements.
P.S.: If the brand is highlighting its 300-day battery feature, it should also clearly state the lack of a 'Continuous Recording' feature. This way, customers won’t feel misled or disappointed.

Completely unacceptable. I understand putting a warning about draining the battery or automatically shutting off that feature when power source isn't present, but when power is plugged in, there's absolutely no reason not to have this functionality. Along the same lines, not having RTSP/ONVIF basically makes this camera not useful for me at all - I can't record anything on a separate NVR either. I love the event detection but would love to review everything that happened prior to the event also or in case the camera gets stolen.
