Hi

I recently installed Tapo C520WS. In the app I see "Auto Tracking" under Detection section and "Patrol Mode" under Pan & Tilt section.

Can someone explain what does "Auto Tracking" and "Patrol Mode" mean and what is the difference between the two.

Thanks

  @AksSon

Hi,
Auto Tracking feature: when an event is detected, the camera will continue tracking the activity until it has stopped or is out of the monitor area.
Patrol mode: the camera will move between your marked positions rather than track an event, and you can refer to the instructions to learn more about the Patrol mode on the camera.

How to set up Patrol Mode on Tapo cameras?
Best Regards
