I would like to see a setting where the alarm button is disabled or removed from the camera menu. We use our cameras as baby monitors and to check on our animals when we are away. And multiple times when you tap your notification and get into the app your finger lands right on the alarm button and scare away our animals or wake the baby up. A simple way to just disable the button or certain cameras would be wonderful

  @LemonBird

The "Alarm On" button on the camera device page (Liveview page) is used to control the motion detection alarm function and does not have a "tap to siren alarm" ability.

If you find it easy to accidentally touch the menu on the right side while operating your phone, I recommend accessing the camera view through the Cameras tab (App homepage -> Bottom menu, "Cameras".) to avoid any unintended actions.

Remove the alarm button and put it as a setting inside a menu

  @LemonBird

Exactly this !

There has to be a way to remove this button from the camera screen or move it around. There have been multiple times when me and wife have accidentally enabled the alarm which made the alarm go off on our baby's movement and scared the hell out of all at the same time.

This is seriously a needed change in the app and wondering why this hasn't been done already.

Atleast if the baby crying detection is turned on, then the alarm should be disabled by default since there is no use if the alarm goes off along with the baby crying. TP-Link should seriously consider this issue.
