Tapo D230S1 Doorbell stays in red light and offline after less than 1 day working fine.
I'm having a problem with my tapo D230 doorbell. It stays in red and seems to be offline. I tried to reset it but it does not work, it stay in red light. Thank you to those who can help me. I only have the doorbell installed for less than 1 day. It was working fine for just less than 1 day, and suddenly have the red light stays on and offline.

Hi,
You can try the following steps if the doorbell camera does not respond to a factory reset.
1. Turn off the doorbell camera, and move it to a location that does not have much interference and power on the camera.
2. Try to reset the camera by pressing the reset button for 5 seconds or 10 seconds and checking the LED status to see if the camera responds to the reset operation.
If the LED has no change at all, you can contact your retailer or local support to check the warranty.

@llynnwhyy I end up took that back to retail store and changed to another set. Then problem solved 😇. That needs a replacement.

In my case the doorbell suddenly went offline during the night (after half a year of working properly) and stopped recording events. I could see the battery level and it was online in the tapo app but it was blinking red slowy and I could not see the video stream. Restarting the doorbell didn't help, but restarting the hub (H200, remote restart) solved the problem.
