SMART MODE NOT FUNCTIONING IN MY TAPO C520WS

Hello!
My C520WS was set to Smart Mode.
An event has been detected, yet the camera remained on the IR mode.
Smart Mode should automatically activate the LEDs for the Full Color whenever an event is detected. Is my understanding correct?
I have motion, person & pet detection ON.

Hi,
Have you updated the latest firmware(1.2.10 Build 241025 Rel.55515n) on the Tapo C520WS? If not, please try to update the firmware via the Tapo app and check if it solves the issue.

I have already updated the firmware and I still get the problem. I just don't enable the alarm feature because it is a hassle to reset the device again.

I enabled the alarm feature again, now the smart mode is not working properly even when the alarm feature has been disabled. The camera stays in infrared mode all night even when an event has been detected.

If you have enabled the Motion Tracking feature, please turn it off for a try.

Before the Upgrade:
(1) Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
(2) How to update the firmware of the Tapo devices on the Tapo App

Hello,
thank you for your quick reply. Today I ordered a second C520WS for my application and by tomorrow I'll receive it. I believe it will be the same HW version (1) as it comes from the same reseller. One i receive it I'll definitely want to fix them both before the final installation in my yard (it'll be difficult to play with them (dismount) afterwards).
As requested, I'll send you a pm with both MAC addresses in order to receive the fixed firmware on both cameras.
