How to have Echo show display the video feed of Tapo doorbell D230 after doorbell is pressed
Hi,
How do I set up Echo show to display the video feed of Tapo doorbell D230 after the doorbell is pressed?
I've only managed to set it up to announce with a voice when someone rings the doorbell. But that's pretty useless, since the doorbell has always the chime to let me know someone rang the doorbell.
I'd want the video to appear automatically so I see who it is.

@UkbasedTapoUser check if the notification settings on the Alexa app are enabled for the doorbell D230.

You can setup a routine for this. But... it won't always connect and alexa will tell you "the camera isn't responding" sometimes.
Also, you won't have the option to talk to someone via he echo show as it's not supported.
Let me know if you want to see my routine.
Mike.

@UkbasedTapoUser you need 2 routines on you amazon account.
The first will open the doorbell camera on the echo.
The second will close the doorbell camera after 30 seconds.

I have tried this on one routine, but it's much less successful.
