Hi,

First of all, I'm sorry for spamming many questions/problems on the forum lately :( Hope you still have some patience for me.

I'm facing an issue currently which I'm trying to resolve.

I have a problem with accessing network folder, shared by QNAP NAS.

NAS device is placed in Site A (192.168.10.50), where ER706W is also a VPN server for OpenVPN as well as IPsec responder.

The computer placed in Site B (192.168.100.100), where another ER706W is an IPsec initiator, has issues with accessing hosted network drive.

The IPsec connection is established, From Site A I can successfully access the network drives, ping devices in Site B as well as connect via RDP to computer in Site B.

While working on PC in Site B, I can succesfully ping the NAS device in Site A, I can access its web interface via web browser. But when I try to access it via File Explorator \\192.168.10.50 I receive Windows error message saying: "Can't access \\192.168.10.50 . You don't have permission to \\192.168.10.50 . Contact your network administrator to get access."

I can access the network folder while working on Software VPN (connecting from external network using OpenVPN software and connecting to Site A's OpenVPN server).

I can confirm that Login and Password that I'm using to access that network folder is 100% correct, I'm using the same one while accessing from SIte A.

I have added NAS IP, Username and Password in Credintional Manager.

I've tried disabling whole firewall on the Site B's client PC.

Unfortunately, those steps didn't work. What to do next? there to look for the problem?

  @RaRu

OK, I've managed to solve the issue. The culprit was Windows itself, but not the Firewall - the Updates...

Installing last available update for Windows 11 (Update from January 2024) solved the issue...

Sorry for trouble.
