What the...

I set up everything beforehand and then go to the location where I will use camera. Wall mount and try to change WiFi and it's not possible. Can't believe this. I'm pretty sure that seller don't take back camera because it's already used. This WiFi change feature is basic setup thing and now i have readed from here that TP-link has got feedback long time and it's not fixed????

  @celeritas_216 came back to check and see if this has been updated. I overcame this hurdle of using the camera in 2 homes by making the wifi password the exact same. Problem solved so I thought...now i went to add a new TP automation to Alexa and a new compatible light which required 2.4 so i connected it to 2.4 and updated the information only to have that command somehow take ALL of the TP cameras offline because they cannot connect to the network that they're supposed to remember. I did not change ALL of the cameras and this feature to change the network all at once is not supposed to exist. Yet somehow here I am with 5 cameras that I'm supposed to relink one at a time for an issue I do not know how I arrived at. These cameras need to be removed from the Amazon app as they are just more of the same advanced technology completely hindered by an outdated concern.

  @njgirl  If your cameras all disconnect from home Wi-Fi suddenly, try to reboot your router, reboot the cameras, and check if they will reconnect to the home Wi-Fi.

  @Contraband

My problem is the same and I need to change the cameras network many times, depending if I am connected to my slow adsl internet or to my 4G router when I have data.

Do you find it reasonable to reset and set up 6 cameras so many times?

This is ridiculous for the amount of money I have paid for these cameras. I have a cheap Sricam and I can simply select the network I want by selecting it on the settings.

This is really disappointing, I have paid a ton of money in this company for routers, switches, mesh, access points, repeaters, cameras, smart devices and you can't make as simple thing to help so many people asking for it.

Unfortunately if this won't resolved soon, I will have to sell my cameras and this will come along with a lot of negative feedback.

  @nickgt  you can try to set the same 2.4G Wi-Fi name, password, and wireless security type on the adsl internet and 4G router, then the camera may connect to the adsl internet or 4G router without resetting and set up again. You can try rebooting the camera if it does not connect to the adsl internet or 4G router automatically.
