Alarm only when detecting a person, not movement
Option to set an alarm only when people are detected, not when motion is detected. The camera has a lot of false motion detections and if an alarm should sound every time, it is not possible. Person detection is relatively reliable. Thank you

Hi All,
Some Tapo Camera models support selecting the Alarm Event Type on the camera's Device Settings>Alarm>Alarm Event Type page and the camera will only trigger an alarm when the selected event types are detected.
If your camera's firmware and the Tapo app are up to date but you can't see the Alarm Event Type option on the camera's Alarm feature page, it should be the camera currently does not support this feature. It's recommended to wait patiently for the new firmware and pay attention to the firmware release notes on the official website>camera's Support page.
Best Regards

Hi,
Do you want to enable the Motion and Person Detection types on the camera but only alarm when the camera detects the person?
Currently, if you disable the Motion detection type and enable Person Detection, the camera will alarm only when detects person.

This would be incredibly useful for me. At the moment, I need to leave motion detection off when I am on holiday, which may be missing important events.
