matter support for 3-Way Switch

@Wayne-TP This posting isn't a solution. Many people would like a consistent look across switches in their home. Without 3-ways, it's hard to do a conversion.

Any updates on the release on the 3 way matter regular and dimmer switches?

This looks like one of those problems in which customer support cannot help. It is possible (and probable) that they are just as much in the dark as we are. The folks manufacturing the devices may be having technical issues making a 3-Way switch that is reliable. I don't think this thread in this forum will get any more traction unfortunately. It has been close to a year, no answer. Not even "It should be available in January 2025", nothing at all.
For this reason, I am evaluating competitors. I desire the same looking switches throughout my house and if that means a different brand, well that is what I will do. I can change a few of my 3-Way switched into single switches, but I can't do that everywhere, it doesn't make sense.
I will keep my ear to the ground and hope TP Link releases a 3-Way Matter switch in the near future however I'm not holding my breath.
Cheers

@JoeSchmuck They already have 3-way dimmer and non-dimmer switches available, this is just a matter of waiting for them to finish adding Matter

I am specifically waiting on a 3-Way Switch, not a Dimmer, although a Dimmer is something I need as well, just not a 3-Way dimmer. You would think a 3-Way Switch would be easy but we have not see one materialize by TP Link/Kasa that support Matter.
I have to say that a lot of people have been waiting for a very long time for this 3-way switch, and specifically Matter compliant. Over a year people have been waiting based on other forum postings as well.
While I would love to purchase all the TP Link single pole switches now and install them, the fact that the 3-Way switches are not available to view and to ensure they look identical (they need to match the decorative design), how can I spend money on that investment and then 6+ months later the 3-way switches come out and look completely different. I have already had that adventure with a different manufacturer and they told me the products were identical when they replaced it under waranty. Guess what, not even close astetically which makes a difference when you have a gang of four switches and one does not look like the others, I mean, really does not look like the others (red light vice white light, and the new light it in the top where the old light was in the bottom). For this reason I plan to purchase all my switches for the house at one time, plus 4 of each different type extra and just hope I never need them. That means I will be purchasing at least 16 extra switches just for spares. I never want to be in this situation again where they don't match. It looks like garbage. And my house is nothing special however to me, and anyone who visits, it is just doing poor work and refects back on me and my quality of work.
It would be a different story if there was some sort of timeline we were aware of that TP Link was marching to.
I'm not telling anyone to not wait. I do hope that TP Link realizes they are going to miss a part of the market with this rather long delay. And I really want a Matter connected house. I may settle for Zigbee if I must, it is not exactly Matter however it is available now and widely supported. I want my lights to turn On/Off when I press the button, not .5 secdond later, or worse, 3 seconds later. Drives me and the wife mad, mad I say.
So I'm doing some planning now, it will likely take me a few weeks as I never pull the trigger fast when dealing with a decision like this. I need to do all my homework to ensure I pick the best option for my situation. If TP Link says the 3-Way Switch in coming out in a few weeks or months, I will hold off and see what happens. But for now, I'm in the planning stages.
And I really liked the TP Link Smartphone Application, it was a major selling point for me.
@qbacreative I do appreciate your comment but waiting this long without any updates by this company is making me think about alternatives.

I bit the bullet and purchased a brand I really didn't want but the cost was less as I already have similar products. I bought eight 3-way switches and installed four of them. This leaves me with four extras for now. I had to move some around so the switches all matched within the same 4-gang box but that is done. Now it's time to get Home Assistant to work like I want.
If/when TP-Link ever produces a 3-way Matter switch, I will likely purchase them once my current switches fail and I need to replace them. I hope that isn't for a long time but I really like the idea of not needing any connectivity (except to each other) once setup.

@Wayne-TP would absolutely LOVE it if you could reply here. Even just an acknowledgement vs the nearly year long silence since your last post. I would love to fully invest in the Kasa environment but without a Matter certified 3-way switch I can't pull the trigger. It would be nice if you could try and get any kind of update from your product team since it's clear there's an interest and TP seemed to be moving this way anyway. Is it coming or not?
