Really would like to be able to delete individual recordings off sd card while away

I just got my first TP-link Tapo.  Deleting individual recordings isn't available in app?  That's surprising.  I don't want to reformat the SD card to accomplish this.  That method is the "nuke it from orbit" method.

 

 

I can trigger a format request to delete all within the app.  It's not that big of a development hurdle to allow me to delete individual recordings of the SD card.  I also want user entitlements to add members to Read Only, Read/Modify Settings, or Read/Modify Settings/Delete Recordings or Format SD.

First time Tapo camera user - I am generally satisifed with the camera and overall setup but I am really SHOCKED that individual clips cannot be deleted.

This was an option on several other many cheaper cameras I have had.  I hope someone wakes up and adds this feature.

Need this for a D235 Video Doorbell Camera

We definetaly need this feature. Both manually, both automatically (after XX days)

  @Phil-TC85 I plan on having my one camera in a rather inaccessible location.  I will be reviewing motion recordings and want to delete those that are not of interest so I can maximize space for valuable recordings, but I certainly don't want to format the memory card, and I can't easily get to it.  I am not interested in using the cloud storadesirable. Just to be clear, there's nothing sketchy here.

 

An event by event, or group of events deletion would be desireable.

This simply makes sense, sometimes youcan't just remove SD card from camera

A «must have» feature.
