Turn on/off Smart Control for all KE100 valves
Hello,
It would be great if we had a chance to turn on and off Smart Control schedules for ALL our KE100 valves with a single button.
For example, if I am going to be away from home for a couple of days, I'd want all valves to stay off as long as I am away, and in order to do that, I need to turn off Smart Control one by one, which is quite tedious.
Also, it would be great if I could see the schedules for all my valves in a single screen, so I can consult and adjust them easily (and being able to see other valves schedules while adjusting one) without needing a "one by one" configuration.
Thanks,

You raise a good point!
Wondering how many users also own multiple Kasa thermostat valves? Do you guys share similar needs or challenges regarding this scenario? Join our discussion! If you also support this feature request, please vote for it.
Note: Please share the number of the KE100 you own and how often you need to disable the Smart Control/Schedule feature for all devices (and for what reason?). This allows the team to better understand the necessity of the function when evaluating this feature request and helps to advance the evaluation conclusion in a good direction.
For example, if you go on vacation every six months and need to disable all TRV' schedules. Twice a year is a relatively low frequency of use.

Hello,
Any update here? Will the Tapo app include new functions to control all valves at the same time for some functions (at least, turn on/off smart schedule)?
Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I did not see your edit...
In my case, I have 8 valves working and I guess most user have more than one device.
I don't think that long vacation is the only reason to disable the smart control at home. There are other moments when you might want to turn all valves off for a couple of days (weekend away, business trip...). That could happen more than just twice a year.
There is even the possibility that, even when you are at home, you might want to avoid schedules and control temperature manually during a specific periiod. For example, when you have visitors that prefer higher or lower temperature, or when your personal situation (ie, you feel sick) make you prefer a different temperature during a specific period and then turn back to "usual schedule".
Just, as you have the option to turn smart control on and off for each valve individually, you should have the option to do the same for all of them with a single button, right?
Thanks again.

Hello,
No update after my last reply?
If there is no way to add a button to control all devices at once, could you at least add a button for each valve in order to turn Smart Control on and off without the need of going into the device configuration screen? Just as we can turn valves on and off from the main screen, it would be great to turn schedule on and off easily.
Thanks.

@bio82 I just purchased a system, realised that this is an issue, and the fact that it can't already do this is totally ludicrous.
So I get my ideal heating schedule setup, and now if I want to turn it off for a couple of days, I have to go into the settings of every individual thermostat to turn each one off??
And then turn each one on again individually when I come back -- jeez
This is the same amount of time it takes me to turn off all my old mechanical valves, it's unbelievable that a 'Smart' system doesn't have this most basic feature.
I am strongly considering sending it all back for a refund in light of this

It is really annoying that this is not implemented yet, as long as it does not involve any complicated feature.
It seems pretty obvious that people might want to turn on and of the heating schedule for the whole house depending on the needs. I already provided some useful examples of moments where you do not need a schedule because you do not want heat at home while there's no one there (holidays, weekeds away, business trips...) or even the other situation, when you need heaters to keep working all the time and not by the timer that suits your regular lifestyle (holidays you stay at home, days when you're sick and stay home working, times when you have guests...).
I really hope this changes soon...

I own 9 x KE100 valves (also 3 x T315, 2 hubs tapo and kasa, smart switches and plugs), and I would like to turn them off with a single click, or that is set the "vacation" mode.
I have a vacation mode on my floor heating controllers, I just set away mode ans enter effective dates. In this way they are back to normal operation when I come back.
Here I can click 9 valves and set them to off, but they will be turned on by the scheduler.
So some automation to disable schedule on all valves and trurn off
or better yet, disable schedule, set a desired temperature (low setting, like 15...18C)
then turn on and enable schedule (or just enable schedule)
In this way we could also use schedule as "at home" option, and when everybody is away, we can set a specific "away" temeprature.
For today I try to set a schedule that follows time when we are at home. This is hard to do, there are exceptions, free days etc.
I guess both would be usable options, depending on what devices one has.
So a perfect for me would be this - follow a schedule when I'm home. Set "away" mode when I'm not home (does not matter if its half a day or a month) - triggered by automation, geofencing or smart button.
