D230 doorbell - No notifications on second phone

Hi,
We recently got the tapo d230s1 doorbell set along with the corresponding hub. After installing everything seems to work fine except for the notifications. Even though we all own the same phone (samsung a54) only my dad gets a live notification when someone rings the doorbell. His phone gets a pop up notification and starts ringing to alert him that there is someone at the door. He then can choose to deny the "call" or pick it up an talk live to the person at the door.
My mom and I don't get any notification even though all our phones are connected to the doorbell (and hub) and also all our notifications are turned on. If I open the app and click the doorbell I also can see the live footage from the doorbellcamera. BUT the only way to find out there was someone at the door is by first opening the app and clicking the bell icon. It will then say that there has been someone at the door. However we don't get any live notification which makes this doorbell at the moment pretty useless because if my dad is not at home we don't get notified at all (apart from the chime in the hub).
Has anyone experienced the same and moreso does anyone know a solution/fix for this problem?

Hi,
1. Since I confirmed that the Notification settings on the Tapo app>Me>Notifications>Management page won't sync on different phones, please go to this page and ensure the switch for your camera is enabled on your second phone.
2. On the picture you sent before, there is an option "Remove permissions if the app is unused" enabled on your phone, can you turn it off for a try?
3. Whether the "Do Not Disturb" feature is disabled on your phone?
4. On the Samsung 20 FE mobile phone>Tapo app>Home tab>Bell icon at the top right corner, are there no received notifications for your camera?
5. Are you logging into the second phone with the same TP-Link account as your first phone?

Hi,
If you can receive the notifications on the Tapo app, which means the notification settings on the Tapo app are no problem.
I found the following instructions on the Samsung website, and you can check if they help.

Hi
i have just installed a D230 doorbell with hub (and 2x C211; 2x C420) and I'm experiencing the same issue.
I receive notifications from the doorbell to my phone with no issues. However on my wifes phone she gets no notifications although she can see through the video and speak with it ok with the doorbell (all the cameras work fine with her phone).
I have set the Tapo app on her phone to my account and ensured all her settings are the same as my phone.
We have just stopped using a Ring system that worked on both phones with no issues at all! I have an iPhone 13 Pro and my wife has an iPhone 11 Pro.
I would appreciate all the help you could give me as I really want to use your system over the Ring but I need my wife to be able to receive notifications.

Hi,
Please refer to the instructions below to check if the settings on your wife's phone are correct.
Why can’t I receive notifications after turning on Notifications?

I have just bought the doorbell D230 and ll has gone well, except this issue. There are no doorbell notifications on my wifes phone despite all of the notification settings being set to on. There is a significant difference in te settings. On my phone the notification settings for TAPO also have an option called "Announce Notification: which is set to on. This option isn't available on the second phone whether logged in to the same account or a seperate one with the doorbell shared.
Look at the previous comments this seems to be a common, unresolved issue. I will post screenshots of the notification settings of both phones so I don't get asked to do this.

Hi,
1. The Announce Notifications feature is related to your iPhone settings rather than the Tapo app. Please check if the following instructions will be helpful: htt ps: //discuss ions.ap ple.c om/th read/25 4511307?sor tBy=rank (you can copy the link in a browser and delete the space to open it.)
2. In this case, please check if the second iPhone has enabled the Do Not Disturb mode, if so, turn it off for a try.
3. On the Tapo app on your second iPhone, please go to the Me > Notifications page, ensure the Do Not Disturb is disabled, turn on Device, and make sure the switch for your Tapo doorbell is enabled.

I have a similar problem - yet I on no phone get a notification that someone has pressed the call button.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE & Samsung Galaxy S22. On both, all notification permissions are set, both for apps and lock screen, battery saver turned off, etc. Everything I could set on the phones and android side - I set. Nothing, silence, no notification. Of course, when I launch Tapo and select D235 I can see the picture, I can chat online through the app.
This looks to me like a problem with the app, not the phone settings, since it doesn't work on two phones. What's more - I also have the Tapo app and the associated account on my Xiaomi Pad 7 tablet, and it's quiet there too. ..

Hi,
In this case, it's suggested to go to the doorbell camera's Device Settings > Doorbell > Doorbell Video Call page to check if your settings are correct. Please send me a picture of the Doorbell Video Call page and the Grant Permission page.
On the Tapo app > Me > Notifications > Management page, please turn on the switch for your doorbell camera. On the Me > Notifications > Do Not Disturb page, please ensure this option is disabled.
Can you receive motion-detected or person-detected notifications on your phone or the Tapo app when the camera detects motion or person?
