I have been using an outdated irrigation controller for many years patiently waiting for someone to design and sell an easy to use and setup sprinkler system and even now in 2023 there is still nothing worth buying!
So I have been using individual smart plugs that use a 24vac transformer plugged into them to activate my irrigation valves.  The only problem with doing this is when you have a lot of valves to control.  It would be amazing if there was someting like your current power strip that would allow you to input whatever low voltage you desire via terminal connections and have it control individual smart outputs also on terminal connections.
So I'd be able to plug in say a 24v AC transformer and bring the output from it into the input of this power strip and when activated the corresponding terminal socket would then send that 24vac to my sprinkler valve and be completely controlled using the schedule portion of the current smart app!
