H200 does not stop ringing after "closed and triggered" rules
H200 does not stop ringing after "closed and triggered" rules
Hi,
I've just bought a H200 Hub and replaced my H100 (worked well like a charm for months). H200 installation was easy.
I repaired my sensors with H200, everything went well.
Then I recreated my rules successfully, altough the "closing triggers" does not stop the ringing of the H200 Hub. (I must stop it manually from the app - via the server).
It worked well with H100!
Other (non-ringing rules) seems to be OK. But the ringing based rules fail to stop.
I can see all 'opening' and 'closing' triggers in the log list... so the function seems to be work on the server side, but
Like this:
22:50:17 Closed and triggered "Door closed" - ringing cannot stop!
22:50:10 Closed and triggered "Door opened" - ringing is OK
I suspect this must be a bug.
Is there any solution, recommendation or new firmaware to resolve this issue?
Thanks for any help or final resolution!
p.s.: I purchased H200 because of its Ethernet (Wired) capability. (Trying to eleminate as much wi-fi connection as I can.)

Can you share the screenshots of your automation settings here (both "Open" and "Close" conditions)?
Please double-check if the Siren Duration of the "Close" rule is set correctly.

"Please double-check if the Siren Duration of the "Close" rule is set correctly." : I'm using the "Become Silent" function (it's been working well with H100 for months...)
But... it fails with H200
H100 always stopped the ringing in ALL CIRCUMSTANCES. Does not matter what triggered it, how long was the duration of the ringing. It has been stopped by H100.
I tried ALL COMBINATION of the rules. It takes too long to describe all combos, but the conclusion is the following:
- The CLOSING rule itself is working well. (I tried with other options such as "switch on/off the plug")
- The ringing STOP functions fail. The obvious setting is 'Become Silent' (worked well with H100) but I also tried to switch on the same/other siren voices and set duration to a lesser value than the opening duration value of the same/other sirens. Both fails.
Screenshots attached. ('closing' setting is above, 'opening' settings are below)
Thanks!

@LA1 Have same issue that using the "then" command on an automation to request the hub "become silent" from a "when" command of turning a button clockwise does not work.
I have started a seperate thread with this example in the hope it draws attention to creating a solution for the issue that the hub alarm cannot be ended using a device. The alarm ringing on the hub can only be stopped only by using the hub icon on the home screen of the Tapo app at present.

@LA1 Hello I have the same issue with HUB H200 in a random conditions the siren is not stopping ringing so need to stop manually from my handset or the people at home must switch it off by plugging out the DC supply. I try many different settings but it happen again. I have the impression that it happens more when there are many people or cars passing in front of the camera for example when there is a parcel delivery. I'm ina a residential place with very low passage of people or cars. Thanks, Alfonso
