Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.25.2

No connection of the wifi networks with VLAN after access point change.

A complete network of 10 houses works amazingly well so far via Omada 200 ER7206, Switch SG-3100. WBS510 antennas are still used as access points. They should now slowly be replaced. Since TP-Link doesn't deliver anything new, we'll have to improvise. First we took more powerful CPE710 and put them in place of (A). It works perfectly. But unfortunately we can't connect a 180 degree antenna. The transmission angle is too narrow.

So we are looking for alternatives. But all attempts with other access points from other manufacturers always lead to the same problem:

All connections work. Ping on all devices. Only the Wlan networks with Vlan are not passed on to the users. No connection possible on EAP's.

Do I need to go into more detail or can someone already help us with this information?

What settings on alternative access points might still need to be made? Vlan is of course enabled, service on Vlan1. Greetings Stefan

  @ColleLupi

EAP should be the same as CPE supports the VLAN-passthrough, did you also set the VLAN on the EAP?

Did you have multi-subnets in the network?

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

  @ColleLupi Thank you for your interest. EAPs work perfectly with the older ones from TPlink. VPNs are marked. There are five networks with five VLANs. Only when the AP pioneer (A) is changed to another device (A) can users no longer connect to the networks at (C).
Tested with Microlink AP-Piont router board Netmetall5 or Edimax OAP1300 (it's about the external antennas). Ping to all sides OK. But no forwarding of the VPN networks to the users.
