Tapo H200 can't be detected in Tapo app
I connected the hub directly to the router as indicated in the manual. The same router that I'm connected with my mobile device. But when I tried to add the device on my Tapo app, the app can't detect the H200 in the network. Has anyone else encountered this? What's the solution

Update to the previous comment. Problem solved. I am connected to a Netgear Orbi RBK20 router wifi mesh. I connected the hub to the satellite instead of main router and was able to see the hub in the Tapo app.

This absolutely worked for me. Connecting via Deco M5 mesh. Switched to the satellite after reading Brickwall's comment and it worked fine. Thanks Brickwall!

I'm a bit curious, did you test the connectivity for the LAN port on the main mesh unit? Can a PC access internet with the same LAN port?
One thought that occurred to me was whether this LAN port could have been configured for a specific purpose alone. For example, I know that on the Deco mesh, users can establish IPTV settings on the main deco, limiting the LAN port to only connect to a TV; other devices will be unable to access the internet through this port.

The instructions in the app are unclear. This is what worked for me:
- Connect hub to power adapter and factory reset
- Remove power cable
- connect ethernet cable to hub and router
- reconnect power
- led will turn red, than red/green and then orange
- then add the device with the app, ignore remarks about the led needing to be red. Just conform every step
- led will turn solid green and hub is connected
- configure wifi connection for the hub

Where are you seeing the prompt that says the LED needs to be in the red state? For Tapo H200, the configuration guide should say "LED Solid Amber", which is orange.
