Tapo RV30 Plus is no longer charging from the home base.
Tapo RV30 Plus is no longer charging from the home base.
The Tapo RV30 Plus is not able to align itself with the home base and is not charging.
Tried rebooting and resetting the RV30 Plus but it is not working.
Now the battery is totally flat and I am no longer able to turn it on.
- What are the other alternatives of charging the robot?
- How do I get the robot to synchronize with the home base again?

I have the same issue, it was struggling to seat itself for a few minutes each time it returned to the dock, now it has stopped and run out of batteries, I manually seat it so that the contacts touch the emptying base, the light flashes three times, but then if I leave it for a day it still says low batter when I turn it on and not turns back off. I can't get it to return home either as the battery is too low. The contacts on both have been cleaned.

Did you observe the LED changes on the robot vacuum when it connects to the dock? How about the light changes on the dock, did it flash white three time?
Note: Do not connect the robot vacuum to the dock when trying to reboot the device (side switch ON/OFF button), otherwise the reboot process cannot complete.

This problem really seems to exist for many and is not solved:
The Tapo RV30 Plus drives to the charging station and does not seem to charge properly. A voice appears: "Battery low - device is shutting down". And that's it. It no longer switches on and does not charge. The general tips given here do not help. Yes, the sensors are clean, yes, it is on a level surface, yes, it flashes three times when the vacuum is on the docking station. Yes, yes, yes. And it still doesn't work. It is dead, cannot be started and does not charge.

It seems like the only solution is to reach out to support. Has anyone here managed to fix it without contacting support? If so, what did support do to resolve this issue? Could you share your experience? Thanks.

@MettaEmmaEu Hi I have the same problem with the RV30 - has anyone had any joy in understanding how to fix this? It was working well for a year and now seems to be as dead as a dead parrot
