Both devices are on latest available firmware.

C310 hardware V2 is on firmware 1.3.3

For some reason C310 hardware V1 is on firmware 1.3.2

 

V1 camera is missing "activity type" notification setting which is useful, I only want notifications for person detection. At the moment this is only possible with the V2 device on firmware 1.3.3.

 

It seems this is a bug

Hi, 
The firmware versions for different hardware versions are different, and the features in different firmware versions are also different.
Currently, your Tapo C310 V1 and V2 have the latest firmware, but some of the features are different. While we don't have any specific details that I can share about if the Activity Type feature can come to the Tapo C310 V1 or when it might, I'll log the feature request and pass it along to the team to evaluate.
Please pay attention to the release notes in the new firmware version and keep your firmware up to date to enjoy the new features of the camera.

Any update on the missing feature "Activity Type" for the C310 V1?

 

I have 3x C310, where 2 of the V2 and one V1 which is this really annoying not able to set the Activity Type.

  @Bismarck74  It seems the latest firmware for the Tapo C310 V1 is still 1.3.2, you can update the firmware when a new one is available and check if the feature to select Activity Type is available~

Okay, I'm fine with that, but for me as a customer, I did not expect when I order 3x C310 with the same model name that one of them has a different feature set.

 

Hope there will be an update for the V1 soon to fix this issue.
