Buggy T100's
Just bought a number of different Tapo smart devices (Hub, Temp & Humidty Sensors, contact sensors etc.) which are all working well. However, I also bought 2 T100 Motion sensors and they do not seem to be working as expected. Both of the T100's are constantly triggering even though I've placed in several empty rooms. I've tried resetting and re-pairing them but that does not fix the problem. I've also tried lowering the sensitivity to Low and that did not fix the issue either.
Anyone else had the same issue?

How often is the detection? Can you share screenshots of the device event log here?
Where is the sensor installed? Please check if there was any movement within the detection range of the T100.
Try to avoid facing the sensor to the heat source, which might trigger false detection of the sensor.

@Wayne-TP Hi - I never came back here to reply as I got a refund from Amazon for the device. They told me I didn't need to return it though they just refunded me.
The other T100 I have is working fine and I noticed recently there was some new firmware for it so I decided to boot up the faulty T100 and install the new firmware. Unfortunately, the problem persists with contstant triggering.
I've tried the sensor in multiple locations and it still has the same issue. I've also tried changing the trigger time etc. to no avail.
I've pasted some images below if they help.

Can you send the Mac address of the problem sensors to me via PM?
Is there any object in front of the motion sensor that might cause a change in heat/temperature and trigger its PIR sensor?

PM sent with MAC address. I've tried the sensor in several different locations and the same problem exists so it is definitely not another source interfering with it. I've also tried it in locations that my other functioning sensor works fine, so I know the detection area is not the problem.

I've talked with the support engineer. Considering the consistent problem performance in various comparative tests and the absence of similar issues in other T100, the initial assessment suggests there might be a hardware malfunction with this product.

I'm having the same issue with one of my T100s ( I have 3 others that work fine) I've also factory reset etc but no change. Registers movements even when the unit is in an empty cupboard!
