Installing Omada Controller issues
Hi All,
I am trying to get an omada controller setup on a virtual box ubuntu machine which I want to later move to my NAS box and leave running.
I am following the guide here
https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/578320
but have got stuck on installing, libssl1.1 - which seems to be obselete from what I can gather.
Any help sorting this would be appreciated.
Thanks

I have a question, it looks like you are doing an x86 install (red boxes), and it looks like you mixed Ubuntu 20 and 22 packages (orange boxes)
I also assume the second orange box is not required, since it fails per line #5?
And this is why it won't work for the PI guys, arm64 and libssl1.1 only support Debian 10/11 and Ubuntu 18/20...not 22.

I have absolutely no idea. Followed instructions from lots of sites. I'm a dabbler not an expert.

Ok, you're in the realm of 'will probably continue to work without catastrophe'. However, you've done the software equivalent of bolting some Ford parts onto a Dodge, so if your controller's stability is critical to your life and free time, you might want to reconsider rebuilding it starting with an Ubuntu 20.4 base.
