Hi!!

I have noticed that many friends have encountered problems installing Omada Controller on Linux, so I wrote a script trying to solve it.

This script is suitable for the following systems:

Ubuntu 16.04, Ubuntu 18.04, Ubuntu 20.04, Ubuntu 22.04

Debian 9, Debian 10, Debian 11, Debian 12

And I have also done some simple tests. It feels great to use.

Now share it with everyone.

BTW, this script can be only used to install the deb package.

Here is the script for installing Omada Controller 5.14.26.1:

Click

Instructions:

1. Login into your Linux Machine.

2. Get the script through the link above.

3. Execute the script as root and enjoy it!

The script has these options:

help

Show the options and example for it.

install-omadac

Download Omada Controller through the internet

install-omadac-local [argument]

Install the software from a local deb package, argument is local deb package path.

  @SakiDZ

Would be nice if you could make a script to install the Omada Controller on a UniFi CloudKey G1(white).

I know so many people who has this bad boys sitting around collectin dust.  Even customers of mine.  It would helpful.

Edit: i think its running Debian 8, but the scipt could upgrade it to 9.  Install the Backport and java stuff.

I can not teach anyone anything - I can only make them think - Socrates
