I am planning to use a 12v wall adapter for my Tapo C210, will it work or possibly overheat the camera
Tapo C210 Standard power cord is 9.0V/0.6A , you should be able to use a 0.9A/12V adapter for the the camera.
In a related topic, it mentioned a power cord with higher voltage does not damage your device, but remember to choose the one with proper Amperage 0.9A.
