Maximum Brightness Features (3x)
I'd love to see the ability to schedule maximum brightness without having to turn on the device first, set the brightness, then turn it back off.
User Story #1: Scheduled Auto Brightness
Jane gets up to go to the washroom in the middle of the night. She wants to be able to turn on the hallway and washroom light so she can find her way, but doesn't want to wake her partner. The light switch knows that between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 the maximum brightness of the switch would be 20% of it's maximum, which provides enough light for her to find her way, but not enough to wake up her partner.
I know similar features exist on the KS220M, but not the KS230 or HS220

User Story #2: Admin-locked Maximum Brightness
Jane has a son, Billy. Billy's bedroom has a smart switch in his room. Jane wants to allow Billy the ability to turn on his light at night if he needs to see his way in and out of his room, but wants to prevent him from using the physical switch to turn up the brightness above 30% between the hours of 19:00 and 07:00 to prevent him from turning on the light at night to play with toys.
User Story #2.1: House Party
Jane and Jason are having a cocktail party & dinner. They prefer dim lighting for the dining area and seating area. They set a maximum brightness for the switch of 30% of the maximum brightness. This prevents guests from attempting to turn up the brightness on their own. Jason and Jane can also set a "fixed" brightness level for a period of time, preventing the dimmer setting from being adjusted up or down from the 30% preference they set.

- KS220M
- KS230
- HS220
User Story #3: KS220M Ambient Auto Adjust
Jason has a KS220M installed in office. Jason knows that he is comfortable with an ambient brightness level of 80. When Jason goes to his office in the morning, the external ambient light is 40. The light turns on to add a supplemental 40 "units" of light to his preset level of 80. As the external ambient light adjusts, such as the sun moving to a better position, the current ambient level will increase, and the switch will auto dim to maintain a maximum brightness level. Once the external ambient brightness reaches 80, the light will automatically turn off.
User Story 3.1: KS220M Ambient Lockout
Billy has a motion-sensing dimmer in his bedroom. During the day, Jason or Jane open his window coverings to provide his room with natural light. If the external ambient light is providing more than 75 "units" of light, the switch will not turn on because the room is already at a brightness, that if adding additional light from an electrical source will not provide any additional value to Billy, and this way Jason and Jane can reduce their power bill from lights being left on when they aren't needed.
