Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.2

Tapo C310 won't record voice at all. Newest FW (1.3.2). Microphone is on and I have tried different levels. Also Voice recording is on. Speaker work fine. I did try to reset but won't help. When I bought C310 (about 6 month ago) voice recording worked. Is it broken or what?

Thank you for raising this concern on TP-Link community. Please help to answer below questions which can help to identify the problem.

1. Can you hear the sound when checking the live view? Or it only happens to the recorded video?

2. When did this issue happen? After updating the firmware?

3. What's your Tapo APP version? Update it if it is not the latest version, Android: 2.11.43, iOS: 2.11.24

4. Try to view the camera with another phone.

1. No I can't. No microphone sound at all.

2. I'm not sure but maybe after FW update...

3. Tapo version is 2.11.43 so it is the newest

4. Same issue with other phone

 

The warranty is valid, so I think that the best way to proceed is to replace the device with a new one. Little extra to do, but if the sounds would come back...
