PTZ - (Pan & Tilt) Feature [C200 C210 C500 C510]
PTZ - (Pan & Tilt) Feature [C200 C210 C500 C510]
Request for the following PTZ (Pan&Tilt) Features:
1. Cruise/Patrol to Marked Positions
2. Limiter/Defined Mark for Panning Vertically and Horizontally
This will make the PTZ more efficient to use.
- Better if time intervals can be configured
- Random Positions to visit is also good

Hi All,
1. Currently, some Tapo camera models, such as Tapo C225, C500, etc., support configuring the Patrol Mode on the camera's Device Settings>Pan & Tilt>Patrol Mode page. Below are the steps to set up the Patrol Mode feature.
Note: Non-stop patrolling may affect the motor life of your camera.
1) Tap Add Mark on the Patrol mode page, tap the arrow on the steering wheel to select a desired viewpoint, and click on Add Mark.
2) Customize the Mark Name, select Layover Time, and tap Save to save the settings.
3) Repeat Steps 1) and 2) to add two or more marks, enable Patrol Mode, tap Patrol Mode Schedule to set a schedule to turn on the Patrol Mode, and then the camera will move between your marked positions.
2. For the feature to limit the maximum movement position of the camera in the vertical and horizontal directions, it's recommended to vote or leave your comments on the thread "Limit movement".
Best Regards

Hi, does the Patrol Mode have time settings when to start? I assume it would work like the AWAY mode that will start to Patrol inbetween the set range in random timings.
Please tell us more or if you can share a downloadable pdf manual.
Thanks.

@vanQ
Hi,
The Patrol Mode works after you enable it, and when it takes effect, on the camera's Live View page, you can see a message notify you that the Patrol Mode is turned on.
