Privacy mode for the camera it only means shutting it down, and one has to remember to turn it back on. Privacy mode could include a set of predefined times to turn itself back on. Of course this is my own fault, i keep forgetting to turn it back on...Any suggestions? as scenes doens't pick up the camera either
Kasa and Tapo cameras do already have a feature for this. You can create a schedule to either enable or disable privacy mode. For example enable the camera when at 7am when you leave for work and then disable at 6pm when you return home. You can even set additional sechedules like enableing at 11pm when you go to bed and 6am when you wake up for example. Some cameras in our pan/tilt line can even have schedules created for patrol mode.
