When my camera and mobile app is not on the same wireless I can only hear the sound and not see the image. What can I do?

This issue is very weird. Have you enabled VPN or firewall on your mobile phone?
You mentioned that you are not on the same wireless, so may I know what network your mobile phone use? Cellular network or other wireless network? Who is your internet service provider for your phone?
And you can try a different phone to remotely access the camera and see if you have the same issue.
