TP-link C200 Wifi range distances

Model: Tapo C200

Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version: 1.1.16

I tried to replace my current wifi camera to New Tapo c200 which is facing front driveway, but it's not able to synchronize with my wifi due to camera is too far away, but my current camera aren't having any issue with distance. Is there wifi range issue with this c200 camera? Or is there other models with further range. Thanks

Hello @Jasperz

You could try some suggestions here to isolate the issue:

Please try to locate tapo camera closer or next to Wi-Fi router and see if camera could connect to home Wi-Fi network?
Then move camera further away to the desired location and check the Signal strength/ RSSI on Tapo APP , what is the signal strength at that spot
How to check the network connection stability of a Tapo Camera

May I know how did you find out 'not able to synchronize with my Wi-Fi due to camera is too far away' or may I have a photo of Error message?

How far from router and camera and where camera is located? Thank you.
