Model: Tapo C200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.11

I have one Tapo C200, 24/7 running, SD Card for logs. After few weeks of running without any problems, when I checked my account for logs I found my camera in a different position(horizontal rotation), but nobody use the account in all this time and no people, animals etc were present in location(to touch the device).

In this case what is the explanation?

Regards,

Mihai

@mihai21

Have you tried to reboot / reset the camera and check again?

@mihai21  Hello,

Thank you feedback.

May I know do you use any DVR or ONVIF software in your network?

How often camera rotate by itself let us know the exact time it rotates (such as 11:25AM Pacifc time ) and share the camera log to us,   thank you!

May I know the model of router, and network topology, e.g. router Archer C7 <wireless>tapo C200 camera

Do you have any other smart device that are in your local network?

@Solla-topee

Hi, Thank you everyone for your responses.

 I'm using TP-Link TR-ML100 router, only 3 devices in LAN, 2xTapo c310 1×TapoC200.

I don't have access to download logs from SDcard (device is located in another city).

This issue occurred twice in aprox 3 months, 07.45 AM and 08.30 AM CET.

Also in case of power outage(maybe hours), the camera is able to memorize the last set position, or only default position ?

Regards,

Mihai
