Message: unstable network
I have 2 c200 and 3 c100. I installed the latest version of the app 2.4.16 and an unstable network message appears constantly and the message "cannot be controlled locally" appears on the c100, I do not have notification activated. I have returned to version 2.3.36 which works fast and perfect. I hope it will be solved soon. Thks

@alvaro123 Hello,
Thank you for your valuable feedback.
From cloud one of the Tapo C100 is the on the old firmware. Please ensure Tapo C100 firmware are up-to-date on APP:

Make sure camera connects to router directly, not throgh AP or extenders.
Can you help confirm details to help locate the issue:
May I have a photo of the Error message on Tapo APP, does the error shows up when you try to watch live view ? What is the model & Android or IOS version your phone?
Does all 3 cameras report the same Error message, can you share the Mac address of that camera to us via private message?
May I know the model of router, Thank you in advance.

Before I only updated the version, there was no difference in performance, all good. But now that I am with (low upload and high traffic) I have noticed all these problems, I can not even reproduce the motion detection on the farthest c100 camera the captured video is frozen.
On the other hand, if I go back in version (until 2.3.33) everything is solved.
I don't use repeater mode, all wired. All APs are tplink from android 10 samsung galaxy the app connects from an AP to 2 other APs where the cameras are connected.
Message "cannot be controlled locally" appeared only in farthest c100. Sometimes only when opening the app a message appeared above: unstable network had to be refreshed so that cameras appear.

I turned off the automatic powerline frequency and the network stability issues apepar to have gone away. (Two C200s, both bought at the same time, but only one was showing the issue.)
Go into setting for the camera, then Advanced Setting, Powerline Frequency. As I'm in North America, I've set it to 60Hz. Europe would (generally) be 50Hz.
