Hi,
I am thinking about purchasing kc105 camera because of the local storage option. I'd like to be able to view it remotely, but I don't want the recordings to go to the cloud because it's on a 4g connection. Is this possible?

Hi,
Based on your description, maybe Tapo cameras would be a better option, like Tapo C200/C100/C310 since they did not support cloud video storage.
As for the KC105, only the auto-motion detection video clip would be saved on the cloud.
If you don't want the recordings to go to the cloud, you might need to turn off the motion detection or did not subscribe the Kasa care service.
PS: the remote view on the APP also requires the camera needs to communicate with the cloud server.
