Hi,
There is an issue with the notification handing of the Tapo app on Android 11.
When my smartphone display is on, notifications for movement detection arrive just in time. But when my smartphone display is off, the push notifications are often delayed by several minutes.
I use the Tapo C200 as baby monitor. But the notifications are useless when they don't arrive just in time.
I turned adaptive battery and every optimization off on my Google Pixel 4a and it doesn't fix the issue. As soon the phone is in idle mode, Tapo notifications are delayed.
I think the app needs some optimization according to the new Android version / doze handling.

I am having similar issue after new tapo firmware update. If anyone got any solution please share with us. It would be highly appreciated.

@Kruemelmonster I have exactly the same problem with my C310 cam on Samsung S10plus Android11. Nothing helps. My Netatmo camera works whith no delay.

I have the same problem.
No notification until I unlock my phone.
Notification of other software arrive in real time (social, email,..) so I see it and unlook the phone.
In that moment the notification of tapo arrive (old 1 minute, one hour or more)

The last Android app update, around 1st August, seemed to have fixed the problem for me (C200 cam, Android 9 app).
Notifications pop up and make sound now even when the phone is locked and screen is off.
I do have background data allowed and no battery optimization for the Tapo app, as mentioned here earlier.
