I have 3 tapo cameras and have the same problem, viewing them via a PC - laptop etc using windows is impossible unless you install something like "bluestacks" which is software "free-downlaod-licence-free" software or similar software which allows you use/run android apps on windows software, its a hassle but some people say it works, I tried it and either it doesn't work or I did something wrong as it did not work for me on a modern laptop using W10 . . you'd think for the number of cameras tapo sell they would release software for then to run on windows, perhaps if people keep contacting them directly and not this page they might. . . tbc. . .

Following the guide Here I've found it quite easy to set up my camera's. I used AgentDVR in docker but its the same software as ISpy.
You need to make sure you have set up a camera account under the advanced settings and enter these when setting a camera up.
I used the service URL and it will detect the streams for you as long as you put the correct account details in:
http://{camera_ip_address}:2020/onvif/device_service

I wish there was a PC version of the tapo app though as these options only allow you to view the live stream and optionally create another set of recordings but not those recorded on the cameras themselves

I used this FAQ, but it only worked after I figured out the following.
The part "1. The username/password is the camera account that you created via the Tapo app." got me confused. After installing the app I had te make a TP-Link account. I tried that account for the RTSP stream, which wouldn't work. Only when I found out I had to make a second account in the APP, not being the TP-Link account, but an account for the camera itself, it works. Now I'm recording the stream with the free Windows program Agent DVR from iSpy. My camera is on the same network as my Windows 10 PC.

THE ONLY EASY WAY TO VIEW YOU TAPO CAMERAS ON A BIG SCREEN IS TO BUY A GOOGLE TV DONGLE AND GOOGLE HUB, THE HUB AND CAMERAS ARE COMPATIBLE SO THE IMAGE CAN BE VIEWED ON YOUR TELEVISION, I MUST SAY A 52INCH IMAGE OF YOUR TAPO CAMERA IS VERY IMPRESSIVE,
I HAVE TRIED ALL THE 3RD PARTY SOFTWARE OPTIONS, BLUE-STACKS, SPYWARE ETC ETC AND NONE HAVE WORKED FOR ME, I DID MANAGE TO VIEW ONE CAMERA USING BLUE-STACKS WITH NO SOUND BUT THE IMAGE WAS PIXILATED AND NOT GREAT, WHEN USING THE GOOGLE SET UP IVE MENTIONED ITS LIKE WATCHING TELEVISION, VERY CLEAR, GOOD SOUND,

@Richard_T123 I'm late to the game here, but like everyone else I'm still waiting for TP-LINK or KASA to come up with a better way to monitor my cameras on my PC. 3rd party stuff has not worked for me. The only way I can view my cameras on my PC is through the use of the Link to Windows app on my android phone, Not the greatest way but all I have at the moment.

TAPO said last year they were developing software that will allow you to view your cameras via your PC laptop, but they are not, I did read its got to do with money. . windows want money to indorse any app and TAPO is not going to pay them, whether it's true or not who knows, one thing for sure after 5 years or promises no TAPO device can be viewed or controlled via windows software, seams crazy as I'm sure sales would increase,
