this google home and tapo connection is very useless. i don't have google cast but i have a phone. all i want is that when i say to google "im leaving" it should start away mode where the motion sensor starts to work. is there any way to do this?

Would love to be able to set IFTTT recipes to determine Home/Away too; would be great for stuff like setting it to be alert when I'm not connected to a particular WiFi point or only when my lights are off. 

If TAPO cameras had IFTTT integration, I'd be buying 6 today.  But they don't.  So I'm not.
You really need to get your developers on this.

@NigelP  I fully agree, enabling IFTTT and or ( Alexa triger notification) will make this model of cameras very popular. I am small retail security camera installer. Most of my clients are very cost consious. IFTTT with Tapo will really meet there needs.

I would also like IFTTT integration. It would be handy and make the cameras more useful. 

+1 on the crowd asking for this. 

I would like the triggers to be: 

- If motion is detected 

- if IR is switched on (IE:video goes dark - could be used in conjunction with P100 to turn on lights at dusk) 

- if sound is detected (this can also send push notifications to my phone, like motion does) 

Also having actions to enable and disable privacy mode/recording, would be good, I could link that to my home security system or mobile phone app to auto privacy my indoor cameras when my phone connects to Wi-Fi, security system is disarmed/home mode, or using other IFTTT triggers. 

Needless to say this should include all Tapo cameras, not just the C200
