While I can view my Tapo C200 through the mobile app, I would also like to use a PC to view it. Is there some way I can view it using my PC?

Just bought a C200 and, like everyone else, very disappointed at the lack of desktop PC support - same for all their devices.

However, I have just got it working with IP CENTCOM (https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9nblggh2sjqg?hl=en-gb&gl=US) which is free, unlike BlueIris, and does control the camera tilt and pan.

Hope this helps somebody smiley

Before I plunge into this and waste time setting it up, I need some information please?

1. Create a camera account in the Tapo app
2. setup ONVIF and RTSP via iSpy or on IP CENTCOM

Can these programs be used to get access to the micro SD Card in the camera? Can it view, copy or delete files in the SD Card?

This would be like using FTP via a program like FileZilla as a file manager view.

Can this be done please?

  @WSC4  After establishing the RTSP/Onvif connection, it's unable to access the video recordings on the cloud server or SD card from the iSpy/IP CENTCOM.

  @Summer_S

Thank you for letting me know about this, and I will now not create a camera account nor setup ONVIF and RTSP.

From what I have read via other threads, the only way to gain access to the camera's micro SD Card, is to remove it from the camera and put it into an SD Card Reader via a USB port on your computer.

Instead of putting it back into the camera, get a Tapo H200 Hub and place the SD Card into it and add a new Automation by Tapo App>>Smart>>Add Automation.

Smart Add Automation

But instead of using it as a chime, set it up as camera Motion Detection or Person Detection et cetera.  I do have a H200 Hub, but I have not tried it this way to see if it works.

  @WSC4  if your camera connects to wifi rather than the hub, it won't store video recordings to the SD card inserted into the hub even if they are under the same network.
