@B3Bowdish How'd that ultimatum work out for you?

Also, add me to the request list for a web app.

@Cyraxote

Hello, thank you all for the suggestions.

While there is no plan to add the support for the Kasa app on a PC or computer, Kasa app is only compatible with mobile devices but not computers.

@Kevin_Z

Thanks;

I have just discovered ActionTiles and that seems to fit the bill quite well, I'm only on day one of a 14 day free trial.

@MikeXL5

Hi, do you mean you can manage the Kasa smart device on the computer via the Action Tiles? Actually, we haven't tested this yet, we may not be able to provide suggestions on that. While it is glad to know you find a workaround.

@metropical yes, I think that a desk top version is a great idea,I am sure it wouldn't take much for your tec boffins to sort that out!

@Kevin_Z  Some way to monitor the cameras and devices through a Desktop or laptop would be amazing. i find myself distracted from work more often when looking at the my phone.

I agree with all of these requests for a PC / Mac connection to TP-Kasa devices. If you aren't going to create an app at least be honest about why. Otherwise I will have to investigate other options to a system that, up until now, I was very pleased with. I previously thought these were great products but without the PC connection it is not a complete package and therefore less desirable.  I think everyone who has purchased these devices online where you have an opportunity to leave feedback should let people know there is no PC / Mac support for the devices.

Although it doesn't appear here, I received an e-mail notification about how there's now a Kasa app in the Microsoft store. It's not clear whether it's from TP-Link directly, and it controls only the switches, not the cameras. It's also been there for almost 2 years.
