Hello, thank you all for the suggestions.
While there is no plan to add the support for the Kasa app on a PC or computer, Kasa app is only compatible with mobile devices but not computers.

Hello everyone,
Thank you for your feedback and sharing different ways to manage your Kasa devices on a PC, we would like to make a summary of some workaround shared from our users here:
1. You may install an Android emulator* to manage your Kasa devices or stream kasa cam, shared by community user @Little_C

2. Use Amazon or Google Voice command to control Kasa devices

Google: How to connect your TP-Link Kasa devices to Google Home
3. Other Workaround: some users also use third party desktop app like ' Home Assistant' * to manage smart devices
Disclaimer: * Andriod emulators or Home Assistant or other third-party apps may meet the requirement, kindly note that they are not one of TP-Link official partner apps, so we can not guarantee the third-party software will be accurate or reliable or fully compatible with your kasa device.
Really appreciated your understanding.
Welcome to share how you manage your kasa device on a computer. We will keep this post updated for any new workarounds. Thanks everyone.

@metropical Yes please allow web based connection to Kasa cameras, its so frustrating to work on a laptop and having to continually check my phone, while a web verson could simply be checked by clicking another browser

may I suggest the idea, if it hasn't already been, that a desktop version of the Kasa app would be handy now and then.
tab on PC. I believe that TPlink cameras can be connected this way, i fail to understand why Kasa cameras cant be viewed in the same way.

TP-Link says they' "will keep an eye on similar feedback", but t this has been a repetetive request for quite some time now. MANY people have demanded a desktop app and have resorted to using an Android Emulator on their PC. I started with the TP-Link ecosystem at least two years ago, and have been on the hunt with thousands of other users for a desktop application. I've seen a crazy amount of requests for this feature over this time. Kasa has heard this request hundreds, if not thousands of times. But they choose to ignore it and say each time that they will "will keep an eye on similar feedback". Quit lying to us, TP-Link.

@Stella.Q I have purchased a half dozen of these cameras, they work great, but without a desktop app, they are junk. I'll give Kasa 30 days to release a desktop version of the app, or then I will discard these and move onto another brand.
We are not interested in the Amazon, Google or whatever services you partnered with, its just a very bad business decision to be without a desktop app.

@metropical like to add my voice to this also... since right now, kasa app on my phone refuses to log in. I can't use my devices.

@metropical Hi I would also like to register my complaint that there is no Kasa app for windows, I did note there is a smart plug app by a different developer at a cost. TP-Link has been around a while now and have a proven track record with the devices they produce. Their downfall is obviously believing that windows based systems are a thing of the past. Please add a windows friendly Kasa app
