Hi....I have a set of NC450 currently using the TPcamera app.  However, i need wide angle and outdoor cameras now to add to the existing working nc450 pan/tilts cams. 

 

What TP  outdoor/wide len models allow me to use the SAME APP to control my nc450 and these new cams USING THE SAME APP?  I do not wish to have different apps controlling my many cameras.

Hello, now we just have one outdoor camera, it is KC200, but it does not compatible with the TPCamera APP, we need to use Kasa APP to manage it.

You are welcome. NC450 is Pan and Tilt camera, it works with TPCamera APP.

TPcamera APP can control our NC series camera, such as NC260 and NC250. But they are not panned and tilt, and they are designed to work indoors only. You can try to add more NC450 into the system.

@Stella.Q just found out that NC450 is an END OF LIFE product for TP Link.  Should have just told me this from the beginning and save everyone alot of time......  So basically the new series of KASA cams are not compatible with the old NC series.  

A couple of comments on this.

1) TP Link should at least allow the new KASA app to run old models (less the home automation features of course , which does not exist for NC series).  This would allow me to add new KASA cams while using my existing NC cams on the same app together.  

2) you should not be recommending me to ADD MORE units of NC450 since it is a end of life product!

Currently, we have three series of cameras, NC series use tpCamera APP, Kasa camera use Kasa APP, Tapo camera use Tapo App. We have no plans to make these apps compatible with each other to add a different kind of cameras now, while we have noted your request and will keep an eye on similar feedback.

Even though NC450 is EOL, we will still stand behind our product and provide technical support & warranty.
