@Marcia.Zhang OH go seriously,... I have 4 such devices with only this amber light problem of the total 7 I have.
The devices state that they can handle 3680 watt with 16 Amp max. I but I think that is not true, the devices that failed over time are all devices that where connected to washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, freezer. Non of these device are more then the maximum.
I think they can only handle small electronics like a light.
Really disappointed in these smart plugs3

@Marcia.Zhang I have the same problem. I connected the HS100 smart plug to my wifi, then it wanted to update firmware. I let it do that, the phone app said it had finished updating. Now, it has dropped off the wifi, and the wifi light stays solid orange. Pressing and holding down the reset button does nothing. The only thing which does work, is the on/off switch. The wi-fi light is stuck on orange.
it looks like the firmware update has broken it.

Sounds like a truth. Mine was connected to the water boiler with 1600 W consumption. Too bad I really liked the plug

Yeah, @Kokk07. According to the internet posts, if the socket was a significant heavy load (like in my case water heater) it fails.
