Implemented Tapo C200 ONVIF PTZ
Hi All,
I recently purchased a Tapo C200 Pan/Tilt Home Security WiFi Camera, and I can connect via ONVIF to the RTSP streams, as per the instructions available here:
https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/faq/2680/
However, I have tried several different third-party surveillance software and I seem to be unable to control the camera's Pan/Tilt via ONVIF (the native Tapo App works fine).
Is PTZ control via ONVIF actually supported?
Thank you,
Dimitris

With firmware 1.1.11, PTZ controls for a C200 are working with BlueIris configured using Generic/ONVIF and a configured camera account

@kiwi_nzl thanks for the answer.
My C200 is updated to the latest, which seems to be 1.1.9 (there are not newer firmware available than that)
In blueIris I selected the ONVIF option in the camera models dropdown, but still no joy :(

@kiwi_nzl thanks for the tip about the port. Tried specifying the :2020 in there but no luck.
I wonder what's with the firmware version differences. I am in Japan... so I can just think there is some distribution strategy of the fw based on geography.
Will have to wait until .11 is available in my country then. Tough luck :(
Thanks anyway mate! appreciate the help

Just bought two from AMZ I was happy to see that the PTZ is working great with the Alnet Systems software with the 1.1.11 firmware.
My only disappointment is the fact that I can't modify the network settings :(
