Can't connect to hs110 switch.

I was trying to setup homeassistant with my hs110. Fast forward it gave me a "communications error" when i was trying to set it up.
I loaded the kasa smart app and the plug didn't respond there either. So i decided to remove it and re add the device. I held down the reset button for 10 seconds and did the setup in the app. But when i get to the "Give your plug a friendly name" screen. I just says "something went wrong" and just stays there. IF i exit the app the plug is there but i can not use it. The device infomation screen is missing device time.and time zone. So i am guessing the app is not setting these. It is connecting to the WIFI in the setup because the light is green and i can see it on my router.
If i try to edit the device information i just says call timed out. I tried even re-installing the kasa app from the play store.
Not sure what to do from here.
