Hi Friends

 

my HS210 3 way smart switch is not connecting to app.

i did factory reset and also removed switch from the app. Then I am not able reinstall the switch. It works locally but. It in the app which make this of no use.

 

 Anyone else have similar issues ? Appreciate inputs

What is the led status of the HS210 KIT?

 

After you removed them from the app, you have hard reset them; and you need reconfigure with the kasa app.

Note: Please use the main router's wifi password to set it up.

yes, I did exactly what you said. HS210 is not connecting to my internet 

anything else I can try?

The switch can control the appliance by manually taping the power button on it, right? What's the light status on the switch? 

 

If you put in a correct wifi password during the configuration, please follow the steps below to do the troubleshooting.

 

1. Turn off the firewall on the router, check the advanced settings such as MAC filtering, access control or parental control, they may block the switch.

 

2. Change the router's channel to 1,6 or 11. Change DNS to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4.

 

3. Try to use another phone to do the configuration.
