Kasa app for windows
Hello,
I have a smart buld (LB100) connected and managed through my mobile phone using wifi or mobile data.
I would like to know if there is any windows or mac app for managing the smart bulb and/or other "smart" programs of tp-link that are compatible with kasa mobile app.
Thanks for your time

I would also like to advocate for a Kasa App for the PC “and” with added functionality which will be (I believe) easier to code and use than with a phone app. I am learning the phone app, but I must say that it is not intuitive. And when I am controlling the switches in my house, which happens to be miles away, I want to be certain that the lights are going ON and OFF in the way that I intend them to. So I cast my vote for a PC app including a more robust menu with descriptions and help.
Thanks,
-JimM.

@orani
No, there's not. I've asked for it, as have others. Maybe if we keep onto them, then something may happen.
I'll be using another platform - one that uses Mac, iOS, PC and Android - when I go to move house.

@Solla-topee regardless of workarounds, which are only a second rate solution, I'd like to see native apps for Windows and MacOS. Anything ewlse is just lazy/arrogant.

@daphne laziness or arrogance. Either way.

For my part, I use Kasa apps on Window, with Bluestack. So I can use my PC for all my smart devices (and I have a lot of them).
I know that not havinf an windows application is really "lazy" as many say for TP-link, as so many would appreciate it, but this solution I found on this forum works, You should give a try,
Best of luck to you,

My pleasure. Glad to see you have something that'll do the job for you. How many smart devices you got approx.? Just curious when you say lots!!
A native PC app would be good though. Then again. Look at MS, Apple, or any of the Linux distro's. They go out of their way to fix bugs et al. Yeh right, so TP Link may or may not follow suit.
Enjoy and hope all is well, between moronic plagues, great resets and polar shifts!! ;)

Hi, You are welcome
We hate 4 regular switches
1 double switch
1 smart bulb
And believe me, my settings are complicated. :)
Best of luck to you

Perfect answer for me! And I've got 2 smart bulbs for basement lighting, a 3-way wall switch and mini plug for outside/deck lights, mini plugs for workstation heater, snowblower preheat, rabbit hutch light, projector, sound system, computer. That's all
