HS210 not connecting to Wifi
I purchased a set of HS210s for a 3 way switch config. I am only using one as I have read pretty much everywhere you only have to use one. The switch will work by pressing the button on the wall but when I run through the setup it will not join to my wifi. After the config is done it tries to do a firmware update and fails. As long as I stay connected to the switches wifi I can turn it on and off from the app but if I try to turn remote access it does nothing. Any ideas?
Thanks

There is a firmware update, but that is the problem. I try to download the firmware during the setup process and it fails. Also, while I am still in the app I can go into the settings and try the firmware update there and it fails as well. So, is there any other way to update the firmware other than through the app? Or should I send this back and get another set? I should mention I have several other TP-Link smart switches that work perfectly fine. The HS210 is the only one giving me issues.

You can contact tplink tec support to get some advice.

I ran into the same problem i think. Let me guess, your network is hidden? I have a hidden SSID and couldnt get the switches to connect. As soon as I unhid my network they joined no issues... when I hid my network again, poof no longer had control of the HS-210. I guessing they need a firmware update to fix.
I'll pull them out if i cant get a proper resolution for this....
Did you try TP support? I might try them tomorrow.
