NC450 - camera position is reset
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Model: NC450 2.0
Firmware: 1.4.0 Build 1800522 Rel.8C991E
I have mounted the camera to a wall, Ethernet Cable wired, but sometimes the position of the camera points towards the ceiling.
When i login the web-interface it does not show a Live View, or Current Viewers, after a few clicks the web-interace does no longer respond, only a power-off solves the problem.
Please note that Motion Tracking is off (though the App), so it could not moved to that position cause of this setting.

@davidvandertui I'm having exactly the same problem with the NC450. Have you fixed it?

Good day,
Did you mean the camera moves towards the ceiling by itself?
Can you pan/tilt on the tpCamera APP to adjust the location?
Would reboot temporarily fix the issue?
By the way, how long have you had the camera and when did this issue start?
Thank you very much!

@Brook ,
Good evening..
When it occurs, the camera moves itself to the ceiling. I never caught it exactly when it happens: when I get home, it’s already looks like that.
Then, I can adjust again with the pan/tilt. One day, instead, i've tried to simply power off the energy cable, and turn on again...but strangely it restarted but didn't returns to the inicial position, so I needed to fix it again using the pan/tilt function.
So now I decided to turn a option in the TpCamera android app: Restart -> Automatic Restart [Turn on], so every day it restarts on the 3 A.M. For my surprise, it restarts the camera position along with the restart. So, at least from one weekend testing it, appears to fixes the problem.
So, I bet it's a firmware problem. Maybe could be a good idea to include a option on the camera configuration like "restart camera's position every..... " (and a field the fill the time of the day). This way, it can even recovery from a wrong spot area monitoring caused by a false positive on the motion tracking feature (for example: a mosquito flying around on the late night).
EDIT: I forgot to include my camera's information:
Camera Name: NC450 2.0
Model: NC450 2.0
Firmware: 1.5.6. Build 200924 Rel.A191C3
Date it was bought: on January of 2018.
