Our WiFi (eduroam) needs valid userID and password to connect. How can ic connect the plug to the Wifi using PEAP/MSCHAPv2 or connect the plug to android without connecting it to our WiFi?

How long did you press WPS/RESET button?
We should hold and press it for more than 5s to hard reset it.

Besides, you may try to clear the cookies of your web browser or change another web browser to try again.

I'm pretty sure you can't connect the TP Link device to a wifi that uses an additional userid/password. In fact I haven't run across any smart switch that will. Perhaps you can setup a wifi bridge for it? Or maybe use the android device as a hotspot and have the switch connect through there.
