One way to fix HS100 connecting home wifi issue

I have bought a smart plug "HS100" in 2018, after updating the firmware, it could not be setup to connect home wifi. Correct password with correct ssid could not make things happen, after several times debug, i figure a way to fix this issue up, step 1. set "wpa" encryption method as "wep". This makes "HS100" saving wifi info successfully into device. step 2: change "wep" to "tkip" method for other device saving(used for xiaomi ai device). It works for me, does it also work for you?
