Hi Just getting into this whole home automation thing and i started with a bunch of KASA products.. because of that when I looked into fixing some dark wifi areas and i saw this smartplug/wifi extender i jumped at it (RE370K)I think that its based on the AC1200... and that that one can be used as an access point instead of a repeater.. and my plan was to use it as such.. but i cant find the option to change the mode to access point For clarity i understand a repeater as something that is the middleman between a device and the router.. communication to both over wifi effectively having to share the bandwith between those two An access point would be a device that communicates to my router over ethernet wire and to the end device over wifi...Should i return it then? Or am I overlooking the option?

@Dave101

Hello, the RE370K does not support access point now; while there are some other range extender which can satisfy your needs.

Including the RE450, RE200.

May it help.

@Anton L.Z.
Do you know if this feature has since been added?

Thank you very much!
