My applets are alive but I see the beta service is not showing, so I cannot make new ones?
Did something happen?

It is there but one *cannot* make a new applet. Try it. I start a new one and select "this". Can't find the triggers at all.

From the TP-Link pinned message announcing IFTTT support:
" Kindly note that using Kasa devices as triggers is not currently not accessible, but we will add the support of this function later."
This mean that when you create a new applet, you won't find "TP-Link Kasa (Beta)" as a trigger service ("this") but you will find it when you get to the "that" portion of the process.
